For real though, what I can quantify in textual format...
I'm not what I'd consider necessarily emo/ alt/punk, but I have an appreciation for the things normally associated with the culture, and girls who share that appreciation are definitely my type.
I have my own place, car, and am gainfully employed. I've made a career in IT and am currently a systems operations specialist, which is really just a churched up way of saying I'm a computer nerd. I used to definitely have an emo style about me, but since starting my career, I'll admit I've become a wh*re to the corporate lifestyle and that has made my style more grounded. I'd say I've retained a lot of my edge though. My friends describe me as "preppy emo", if you can picture that.
I love cinema, some anime, dogs, video games, winter sports, concerts... f*ck I'm not typing out everything that comes to mind.
I have family all over and frequently travel to visit. I'm intelligent, and sometimes it limits me socially because it's hard to find conversation that keeps me engaged. I also consider myself attractive, and sometimes I have a hard time separating the concepts of confidence and c**kiness. I'm working on it, though, and am trying to become more patient.
Despite that, I'm a nice guy, a loyal one, and if you can cut through my bulls**t, can be a great friend.
Grammar and literacy are also crucial concepts for me, so if you can't communicate properly via messaging, I'll assume the same is true of your linguistic skills irl, and I'll promptly block you.
I won't post any contact information here. If you want to get to know me, message me here, talk to me some, and I'll give you contact info if I feel we won't be wasting each other's time. After all, your time is just as important as mine.
Know that if you've ever used the phrase "I can be a bitch or the nicest person ever", or any variation of it to describe yourself, that I hate you to your core. This is filler, and a large majority of people use it, and it's a lazy way to illustrate that you want to be treated with respect. Think of it this way: if 150 of you make this claim, at least 149 of you are lying, since you can't ALL be the "nicest person ever". I know this is nitpicking, but it's something that really gets under my skin.
One last thing, photos are to come. This is a trial run of this site and I'll post more as my comfort level grows. If you want other photos immediately, you'll need to ask for them. Fair warning, if that's what you open the conversation with, the answer will be a definitive no. Furthermore, I'm not going to ask you to send suggestive pics, nor should you ask that of me. We're both better than that.
