I'm an ex-musician (singer/guitarist)- now mature student- studying Criminology/Sociology at Kent uni. I decided to change my career path after working with serious youth offenders a few years ago. Despite my old band having some up and down periods of success in the ten years i was with them: touring Europe and the USA, played festivals, and even had an album in HMV, etc... my passion now lies in my degree and my criminological research. After i graduate i want to take it further and do a PhD.
I'm an extremely focussed towards the goals that i want to achieve in life. I've always wanted to leave my mark on the world. First, I tried to do this through my song writing, but now my research into techniques of prison rehabilitation on offenders is my new mode of focus.
I have quite an eclectic music taste- Pixies, Deftones, Cold War Kids, Warpaint, Jeff Buckley, Best Coast, Defeater, Refused, Interpol, At the Drive In... to name but a few...., I'm quite into tattoo's- I have a (almost finished) full sleeve on my left arm, a large piece down from my armpit to my hip (that really hurt!!), and fairly new one on my right arm., i love socialising, reading, cooking, cycling, running, boxing, weight training.
There is a lot more to me than just what i've written here... but i can't give out everything can i ?!!
