I grew up in San Diego, immersed in the punk rock scene there, and somehow ended in Barstow (hate it here).
I still listen to punk rock, but my tastes have branched out: jazz, blues, kraut rock, no-wave, classic rock, sixties, obscure sixties and seventies bands, eighties, folk, goth, bluegrass etc...
Some of my favorite bands are Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., Teen Idles, Minor Threat, Fugazi, Three Mile Pilot, Pinback, Red Fang, John Lee Hooker, Poison Idea, Naked Raygun, Shellac, the Jesus Lizard, Slint, the Melvins, Flipper, Dead Kennedy's, Black Flag, Off!, and even Nirvana
I'm a single parent and a little more conservative about it than I thought I'd ever be.
I love to travel and see new places, or re-visit placed I've enjoyed. I love the beach, good food, trying new foods, sushi, pizza, etc...
I'm also a comic and comic movie "nerd"
I teach English part time for two colleges.
I'm looking for a partner and "soulmate" to share my life with. I firmly believe in honesty, faith in the person you'r with, and devotion.
I do have tattoos and they're mostly of bands I've loved or "nerdy" stuff.
