i'm not going to lie, if you don't send a message that actually sparks interest, i'm not likely to respond. messages that say "hi" or "what's up?" will likely be deleted without responding. i may or may not be a bitch for that, but when i send a message to someone for the first time who has sparked my interest, i take the time to write a paragraph or two. i try to tell them what sparked my interest, tell them a little about myself, etc. if i can do it, so can you.
so let me tell you about me... i'm a person who wears many hats. i'm a mom, a trained chef, a food writer, and a florist (among other things). i love to cook more than just about anything. i also love music. i used to sing, but i haven't done that in years, unless you count singing in the kitchen while i'm cooking. i also love trivia games and games that involve puzzles (not jigsaw puzzles). word games, logic games, hanoi towers, i love that stuff. things that involve some kind of mystery or problem to pick apart and solve bring me tremendous joy. i'm hoping to finally get a group of friends to do an escape room for my next birthday. hmm, what else? i have a bit of an addiction to asian cuisines. feed me sushi, thai food, or korean barbecue and i'm a very happy girl.
anyone else at a loss for what to write in these spaces to spark the interest of a stranger?
if you're planning to ask what i'm looking for, please save it. i don't know. i'm not here with overt romantic intentions. if it happens it happens, but it's not something i actively seek. so if you're interested, get to know me. we'll see where it goes. we might be friends. we might not last more than 2 or 3 messages. we might find things go further.
i have no idea what else to say here.
