I've followed my own path all my life, lived in castles, trekked across Europe on horse/pony back, worked as a Mahut (Elephant driver) and body-breaker (Chopping up cremated corpses by the Ganges River) in India, traveled across Mongolia as a nomadic shepherd/Shaman, trained as an exorcist, been involved in the Occult since birth (My biological family have their own Temple in Staffordshire, England), and been involved in so many adventures in life that I've lost count.
I'm intelligent, imaginative, creative (I'm involved in creative recycling/model making and collect sci-fi/fantasy wargame miniatures), live for sci-fi/fantasy, haven'y watched TV since 1969, but collect DVD box sets/movies to watch on my computer (I don't own a TV set).
The internet fascinates me in ways that most people wouldn't understand, and most people are always telling me I'm "too weird" for them to be around most of the time, as I have lived a life so far removed from theirs that it has always left me outside of most social groups.
I love the 80's Goth music (Sisters of Mercy/Fields of the Nephilim), the whole alternative scenes available (Anything from Goth/Emo to Steampunk/Warriors of the Wasteland and all points in between), although i have a wide taste in music, and am a long-time fan of the band TEXAS (But don't hold that against me).
I began riding Harley Davidson motorcycles at age 17, rode one coast to coast across America age 19, and took part in the Hard Ass races until they became too corporate for my tastes, as well as the now celebrity controlled Love Rallies (Bikers/gang members now hold the No Love Rally the following day instead), but had to give up riding due to a severe spinal injury, but can walk unaided, and do most things without pain/help.
I've lived in castles all over the world, as part of my Occult duties/general lifestyle, so know just how cold and expensive to run they actually are, and currently live in a very haunted house in Ennis, Co. Clare in the West of Ireland (The ghosts follow me from one place to another, I'm told, and people keep telling me they can see Angels dancing around me, or standing outside any building I'm in), with my concatenation of cats, where I create my weird art and other stuff, all while ignoring my neighbours
For a while, some years ago, I worked in film/TV as an Occult advisor, and also worked on some classified military psychological warfare programmes, but that was in the past, and I live in the NOW, not the then or when.
If you have a problem with that information, please keep it to yourself, as you'd just be repeating what everyone else has said many times before if you commented on that, all the while following the herd instinct yourself.
I'm not one of the "beautiful" people, who are all image and no depth, am unapologetic if I insult those who judge me without knowing me, or what has happened to in my life to make me the man I am today, and have no time for elitists, game players, time wasters or any others who annoy me for whatever reason.
Treat me the way you want to be treated yourself, and we'll get on fine.
Mess me about, and you'll be left behind like so many others over the years.
Oddly enough, I DON'T find tattoos/piercings attractive on women, but am looking for someone who lives an alternative/individual life outside of the social "norm," and not someone who just follows an alternative trend.
I'm unique in myself, and so am looking for someone strong enough to live an alternative lifestyle while maintaining an alternative style to what is considered the usual alternative, if you get what I mean.
I have NO interest in most normal things people my age are involved with, have constant contact with my inner child/feminine side, and, believe me, the dark side of my character too :->
I don't dress in all black, don't have tattoos/piercings all over my body (My old biker name is tattooed on my right shoulder, that's all), and don't walk round being depressed, so don't expect that of me.
I am involved in falconry (I use an owl), have helped re-introduce Giant Eagle Owls back into Ireland, helped re-introduce wolves to England and parts of Europe, have helped build standing stone circles all over the world, and have a good relationship with the world I live on.
Most of my oldest/surviving friends belong to Occult Orders/Covens, or are part of tribal Shamanic cultures, so I'm not looking for anyone like that, just someone who shares my passion for the weird and wonderful, who still sees the world as a magical place, and not the materialistic mess it's turned into.
