That's half a joke - but openmindedness and a sense of fun are very important to me. Me: NOT your typical girly-girl. Quick basics: Cute, s*xy, romantic, sassy, smart, great sense of humor, young (in appearance and at heart), currently blonde (prone to change without warning! In the last year it's been blue-black, deep brown, deep red... and I feel another red-fit coming on, I think), energetic (occasionally lazy), passionate, impulsive, fun (sometimes serious), bubbly and outgoing (except when I want to stay in), sensual, often silly and weird (I get bored easily, which means I've always got a whole slew of different activities going on - jewelry making, skating, sewing, cooking, several writing projects, painting, etc. - I’m always up to something new to keep things interesting), curvy (so if you’re not into that, move on…). Not into the bar scene, but I love going out to museums, zoos, parks - places where you can actually talk. I'm into theatre, art, writing, and self-expression. I love to have fun and laugh, but I also know how to take things seriously when it's appropriate. I don't consider myself a punk or a goth, but I do have a sizable (and very cool) blackwork tattoo on my upper back, and some very discreet piercings. Tattoos and piercings are mostly hidden by my clothing.

Reading – especially horror novels (Stephen King, Peter Straub, Sarah Waters, lots more), mysteries, SciFi, true crime, and researching whatever my ‘project of the day’ might be. Comedies. Halloween. Christmas. Animals – cute and cuddly ones best. Tattoos. Painting/drawing. Renaissance Faires. DamnYouAutocorrect.com. Hiking. Hot chocolate. LOLcats. Sunrises. Sunsets. Live Action Role Playing (of the mystery variety, not the boffer-weapons kind). Bike riding. Zoos. Snow. Sunshine. Theatre (I’ve been known to actress/direct in local theatre). Naps. Being unexpected. Being reliable. Roller skating. Hugs. Walks. Kindness. Netflix. s*xy eyes. Killer smiles.
Other: I’m a corporate IT recruiter by day, and a roller derby grrl and artist by night, and I have 3 cats. I own a ramshackle old farmhouse in the semi-countryside. I’m not a compulsive “neat-nick”, but I do try to keep the general living areas decent. You're liable to trip over a box of DVDs or a stack of library books, and might need to move a box of beading supplies or a pair of skates to sit down sometimes, but... (Just kidding - it's not so bad as that!)
I'm hoping to meet someone funny, s*xy (to me), reasonably intelligent, responsible (when he should be), and honest.
I tend to be attracted to what I hesitate to all 'pretty boys' (though that's not ALL I like - if you are one, you probably know it. Gorgeous deep eyes, sensual lips - enough 'emo' to feel things deeply, but enough sense of humor to keep you on the right side of the ground. When I was in high school, we called it 'new wave' or punk - then it was 'alternative' or 'goth' - who knows what 'they' call it now - labels are for followers, anyhow. ::chuckle::
If you are/were a fan of Duran Duran, Adam & the Ants, Bowie, Roxy Music, or pretty much any of the post-punk British invasion (or even some of the glam 'hair bands' from the 80s, you know what I'm talking about.

Sense of humor is a must, as is a willingness not to take yourself TOO seriously. Serious bonus if you do not live in your parents’ basement AND are gainfully employed.
Even better if you like animals and don't consider 'silly' an insult. Also - I am drug/disease free, and would like to stay that way. Hope that doesn't offend anyone.One more thing - No, I do not want to meet you and your girlfriend/wife/whatever. I am not interested in any kind of 'open' relationship.
