I'm a strong muscular, brawny and determined man who finds himself luckily single (I wouldn't be talking to you if I wasn't). I tend to ding between 230 and 240 pounds (16 and 1/2 to 17 stone or so), sometimes more and it's all muscle. The brawniness tends to put some women off, so only get in touch if you're happy to cwtch a strapping lad who can chuck you about easy ('helf n safety'!). And that you like men.
I'm an optimist (within reason, I'm not deluded). I carry on striving to better myself, my circumstances and those of who I love - I've never been married, though have been in a few longer-term relationships and had some wonderful times in them.
I'm looking for an athletic to shapely someone who I can enjoy lovely things and excellent times with - That could be a walk up a mountain (snow!) or a fantastic beach somewhere. That could be a trip to the store followed by a cup of coffee, it doesn't have to be a royal love story. Real life can often be more interesting than fairy tale romances anyway.

I'm a bit geeky at times. Non-conventional in a conventional sense. Intelligent (I can answer a lot of questions on University Challenge and regularly beat The Eggheads).
I'm romantic in my own way, I'm often chopsy, funny and a bit stroppy - I'm amenable, good company, open-minded and reasonably non-judgemental. I'm self-reliant, ambitious without being a career-driven robot. Because I run various fledgling enterprises I'm really busy. BUT! Work, achievement and accomplishment are important though I'm getting better at switching off and relaxing - And would like that to be the primary focus of any relationship with you. I've come to realise that relaxation, fun and frolics (well I've always loved the frolics and hope you love frolicking as much as me ;p) are highly important to me.
I'm primarily a writer-entrepreneur (novels, movie scripts, marketing-copywriting etc etc). I run a few online 'microbizs' and am responsible for my own results (which range from rubbish to excellent) and have some occasional involvement with the film industry (not glamorous at all). I also run a few video channels, blogs etc.
I've lived and worked in some interesting and exotic places (Canada, Malaysia, Thailand etc) and want to travel more with the right girl. I've got a 'best get on with it' attitude, although these days I can do without roughing it so much.
I love reading, learning, communicating ideas etc - History, crime novels, neo-noirs, movies (Hitchc**k, Zombie Movies etc), mainstream and more indie cinema. I love beaches and mountains (my fave mountains are the Rhinogs, what are yours?). I love seeing new places (especially with a willing and keen partner) - After all paradise isn't much of a view without someone to share it with.

I love lugging, lifting etc hefty things around. I love martial arts etc. (no, I'm not a nutter). I love great food with excellent company. I'm interested in other people and what makes them tick, but not as a science project. I'm quite outgoing without being 'on' all the time. Sometimes I'm the life of the party, other times I'm sat by the warm fire, with a warm friend.
I'm well into self-improvement/ development/ betterment, financial independence etc. I'm aspirational without being 'all about money' (I hope you know what I mean here, money's important for a better quality of life, but it's not the only thing).I like to help people achieve their desires and am a loyal true friend to a few folk.
Whilst I'm not a block of knuckle-dragging concrete, I am a man. So I may make the right noises if you break a nail...But I'd prefer girls who just get on with it as opposed to throw tantrums every five minutes. Yes a bit of glamour sure, but I don't want a complete glamourpuss who won't get her hands dirty when needs be.
Ideally you'll be a libertarian (not a librarian, unless you don't charge me to use the photocopier) - You're striving for self-reliance and self-actualisation. A better, richer life. I know that sounds like a load of intellectual bollocks, so let me also say if you can watch a Steven Seagal Movie with me and not be bored senseless (say 'Nico' or 'Hard to Kill') then you've automatically made it to the front of the queue!
Your ethnicity can be anything. Seriously your personality, values etc are important in a relationship. I've fallen for girls because of the way they've laughed, they way they licked their lips or the cusp of their smile. So I don't judge everything physically. Obviously though physical attraction is important, else you just end up friends (no bad thing for friends but not great for a relationship).
