Also a weekend on/off dad of a lovely couple of children, almost at secondary school stage (they live with their mum) and very serious about being involved with their lives.
I like the usual stuff, any films by Hal Hartley, Pedro Almodovar and countless many others.
I like books, got a plan to build a library one day, and read all sorts...Any books by Douglas Coupland and Tashen books and about doors, bridges and buildings, photography, graphic design and cooking, and again many other types.
Music - Watching bands play live is for me one of the best things ever! I have seen hundreds of bands, across 2 different countries... I do love most music styles but will always appreciate a very good live musician... I love London, the diversity of everything, the museums, Saatchi gallery and many others, the grafitti in east London, and the food, I am trying to go round London one fantastic market/restaurant/museum/gallery at a time. I love clubbing but only the alternative kind, but its not something I do regularly now and I am not after a partner to go out clubbing with on a regular basis. I still do like to go to music festivals, but not so much in England.

Chemistry is what I am after... Cliché alert: I am looking for a friend and a lover; a long term relationship, but seeing what happens and letting it happen is the plan...Someone who's passionate about their music/artists/writers/ideas, even if those are completely different from mine.
I am NOT after an open/poly relationship (I do understand and agree monogamy is not natural and have no problems if others want to do it, but I choose to be the monogamous type and I'm looking for a like-minded partner)
As my life started off in the artistic and creative areas, but some twists changed my plans and passions, my (loose) plan now is to go back to basics, to rediscover the creativity in me.
Hence why I am looking for a alternative creative-arty-minded soulmate, to share the next stage of my life with. But I am not too serious about the creative-arty-minded bit, I'm more interested in finding the right person than one that exactly fits the bill.
I don't really have a type... I believe in chemistry over written words, I would prefer to meet in a relaxed fashion for coffee or tea or drinks (or sushi, or going round Borough Market or any other food PopUp/Village/Market for taste testing, or any other nice food place you suggest), after a few successful conversations, instead of chatting online forever.
