Joined mostly out of curiosity after being out of the online dating loop for a couple of years. Here first and foremost just to talk to people and hopefully have interesting conversations, but happy if there are further developments. In the interest of starting some conversations, here are some things I like:
- Fantasy literature and world-building
- History: The ancient world; the Anglo-Saxons; the Viking Age; the World Wars, I thirst for knowledge in general.
- Paganism, specifically historical reconstructionism rather than the neo-pagan variety.
- Video games, lately the sadistic joy of sending thousands of tiny virtual people to their bloody doom in Total War.
- Writing (also fantasy). I've been thinking about historical settings as well.
I know it's an utter cliche, but I'm one of those folks who are terrible at writing about themselves. If any of the above seems appealing, please do write. I like sharing passions with others.
