I'm a school teacher with long hair and a slowly growing collection of tattoos, pretty obvious why I like loud music when the day is done. I've got friends, but it'd be nice to meet some women who have something more meaningful to say than the ones I meet around town. What I'd really like to meet is a woman worth taking to Europe for Summerbreeze or any of the other big festivals. I like to talk, but it takes 2 listeners to have a real conversation.
Whether you just want to have fun or if you're looking for romance, just be honest about it. If you're not sure, well neither am I. If something deep happens, I'll be as happy as anyone to settle down if I meet the right person. If it's strictly fun, I like having my bounds pushed but I respecting each others' boundaries is important.
I read, mostly poker theory or deep fantasy. Stranger Things, Kimmy Schmidt, and Grand Tour are my favorite newer shows to watch. Rifftrax, Game of Thrones, and Better Call Saul are ones that have been around.
I've got a Bachelor's Degree in Geology, and then I got a Master's for teaching math when I decided this was the career I'm into. Education is a plus. On the other hand, I've met plenty of people with grad degrees who don't have much going on upstairs. If someone has passion, knowledge with flow naturally from the joy of embracing it.
Video games are fun, but I don't play as much as I'd like. Dark Souls, Borderlands, Street Fighter... anything that fits my random style. The original Bioshock is my favorite narrative of all time in a game.
I have a guitar, but I've never had time to learn much properly. I can play a few scales, I'm pretty terrible after that. I have a lot of hobbies and the combination of 2 jobs while in grad school made me shelf it for way longer than I'd thought it would.
I grew up around friends who had families that didn't treat loved ones very well. There's a difference between an argument and just intentionally trying to hurt someone. I don't take the low road, I don't get violent, and I don't cheat. If I care about someone, I want to make their life better.
I don't get worked up over drugs either, as long as they're not a problem. If you don't do any of that, great. If so, just no hard stuff or habitual daily type situation. I like my beers on the weekend but work comes first through the week.
I'm not religious... though somehow I've had 6 different religions say I'm going to be fine even after I've said exactly what I think about them, from Indian to Middle Eastern to standard Judeo-Christian ones. Weird, I figure I'm doing something right in life if I can impress those people by telling them why I won't go. If you are religious, that's cool but proselytizing is something I do not appreciate. It's the same with me being pro-choice or politics or anything as stupidly divisive as those things can be. There are good points and bad points to any side in issues like those.
I like kids but I don't have my own (family medical history kind of stuff). I wouldn't have become a teacher if i didn't like kids. It's fun to be silly.
