At times, I have a brooding personality and I get wrapped up into the things going on in my headspace instead of the world, but I love to laugh, I love comedy. Sometimes I say things at the expense of others or myself, but it's always in jest. I like to make people laugh. I think having a sense of humor is important. It sounds cliché, but you have to laugh at yourself. You have to make monkey faces in the mirror at yourself, sometimes. If you do, you're not crazy.
I'm not into sports, although I do like skateboarding.
Music is a huge part of my life. I am into music like some people are into sports, or rebuilding cars, or any other thing people tend to obsess about. I collect Vinyl, have dabbled in producing my own music and hope to get back to it some day. I love all kinds of music; Punk, Post-Punk, The Cure, Psychic TV, Neo-Folk Industrial, Hardcore, New Wave, No Wave, French New Wave, (actual) Hip-Hop, Indie, Blues Revival, 80s, Electronic Glitch Space Tweaker Haunted-House Demon Disco, and so forth.
I also write. I have spent most of my life scribbling in notebooks. At some point I realized I was writing poetry and although it was mostly therapeutic, I hope to publish some of my writing at some future date.
I have three adult children, who are some of the most interesting people I know. Just to be clear, all three of my children are with the same woman and we had them all during our 14 year marriage. I have been divorced since 2010. The kids are back and forth between my house and their mother's house, staying with each of us half the time. They are a big part of my life, and I am a big part of theirs. I am a Dad as well as their Father.
I have driven through all the US states except New England. Portland, OR, is my home now. I moved here in 2018.
