My name is Deanna. I Love all things unusual in a good way. Unique people are jewels in my mind.
Tarot, intensity, the metaphysical/occult, horror movies (big fan), 420, trying to keep up with the current events of our hurting world, honoring the Sacred Feminine (I strongly support the empowerment of women. It's a big part of the reason why I write. Ironically, I don't subscribe to the label feminist tho) etc. I have a sense of wonder concerning creation and am always thinking about things such as the paranormal, I guess what is called consciousness, parallel universes, Mistanapeyo (Sasquatch), what really lurks in Mariana's Trench, Star People (Aliens- I am a strong believer), dreams, ghosts, deja vu, the afterlife, etc. Spirituality is my anchor. I don't even know what I would call myself but an Indigenous, Ecclectic Pagan? Im fascinated by all paths. I look at them as ultimately all leading to the same home. I'm attracted to the beauty within the dark... Expression is very important to me. My 20's were quite tumultuous so creativity is my therapy. I went to art school, its been a while but one outlet of expression for me that is constant is writing. I am currently working on a grant so I can get funding to work on a book I hope to get published (poetry). That is my main passion and drive right now.
One of my dreams is if I ever win the lottery I want to build an off-grid community for artists (a place to bring the odd ones with me, with Internet of course lol). Nature is medicine, so the idea of living in a community with fellow creative, innovative and different kinda people nestled in the woods excites me. That and I want to learn how to hunt. Serious.
I must stress humor is a wonderful thing. I love to laugh and have been told I have a huge, contagious one lol. It would be nice to have someone to laugh with.
I'm a huge fan of affection too. It's one of the ways I show love. Even thinking of cuddling makes me purr lol
I need to note as well, I am looking for friends too. When it comes to friendship I am very loyal and caring.
