I live in Lenoir City, TN. I'm all about honesty. So, here goes.. I'm 31, 5'9 white male, average body size (little chubby) with shortish dark hair that I cut myself and looks like s**t, because I like it chopped up. I'm a pretty heavy alcoholic. I like drugs, too, but I've been in addiction treatment for over 3 years for opiates and benzos. So, I MAINLY stay away from those 2. Anything else is cool and I don't judge drug users. My chest hair grows in the shape of a pentagram, no joke. Music is a huge part of my life, been in multiple hardcore/metal bands mainly doing vocals (mainly screaming until my throat bleeds) I also program music on my computer, but it's more experimental-type stuff. My roots are punk, hardcore, metal, thrash, grindcore... but I honestly believe there is good music in every genre if you have an open mind and are willing to dig deep. No car or job at the moment, yeah, still being honest. I've gone through some s**t in my life, as I'm sure most of you have. I'm not specifically looking for a steady or casual thing, I enjoy going with the flow. I love to write. Short stories lyrics/poetry mainly. I love my 3 year old niece, Nora Jane to death. She's already had 3 open heart surgeries and she's all good!! The light of my life, really. She continues to put things in perspective for me, considering I brought along my "problem" all by myself. She didn't have a choice. I'm a laid back dude for the most part, but I tend to get thrown out of shows. I swear, it's usually not my fault. I was at a Terror show and this big dude was being really mean to the kids trying to mosh.. like, trying to stop them. That's not cool in my book. I grabbed his shoulder and told him to be cool. Turns out it was a bouncer. Needless to say, I got my ass handed to me and my sister and a great friend of mine went to jail trying to defend me. I don't really care much for labels, but I'm definitely liberal when it comes to politics, BUT I will drop all my beliefs for the sake of one.. freedom of speech. If you don't like what someone says, grow a backbone. You can disagree, yes. Just DO NOT try to censor people. I believe words are just that.. words. If they affect you to the point you can't control yourself, that's your problem. Offensive jokes, offensive music.. it's (usually) there to raise awareness about said subject, so don't take things so seriously. I'm down for pretty much anything. I'm also a huge nerd. I'm a big retro-gamer. I would describe my "style" lol as hobo chic. Don't you dare call me a hipster.. I kinda dress like they do, but I was doing it before the word hipster existed, so f**k off. So, yeah. I just wanna meet some cool folks. I'm open-minded almost to a fault, so, if you're a good person, I'll like you. My favorite album of all time is either Refused - The Shape of Punk to Come, or the Agoraphobic Nosebleed/Converge split - The Poacher Diaries. Also a big fan of NOFX, Pg. 99, Mogwai, Pig Destroyer, Devo, The Hold Steady, Bane, The Suicide File, Drug Church, Deerhoof, Elliott Smith, Municipal Waste, Mastodon... the list goes on and on. I grew up around the Knoxville, TN scene so if you recognize any of these bands I'll probably be your best friend.. RedWinterDying, Twinkiebots, Rifles at Reccess, The Invocation (RIP Gabe), Beware the Gentlemen, Across 5 Aprils, Straight Line Stitch, and too many more to name. I once saw Darkest Hour play at a COFFEE SHOP with a capacity of like 100. They destroyed that place. It.. was.. incredible. I was in a band called Flood the Hive back in the day, probably the most popular (not at all) band I was in.. we played shows, though, and had fun.
