Internet dating is a funny thing isn't it? Why do people do it? There are many different reasons. Some are rather questionable and perhaps unhealthy, which doesn't infer that all are that way. Some are desperate and have little or no social skills. Some want a life long partner straight away, regardless of whether they have got anything in common. We all make mistakes in life and need to learn from them, so I guess these people are on a learning curve.
People are people and varied, so what CAN be found on dating websites are people who live for the moment and take it easy; individuals doing this for fun (not promiscuity!). These people are friendly, and are happy to be single, but enjoy dating and we shouldn't spend our time worrying about what others think about us. We care for and respect ourselves first and feel whole as an individual. We wish to share our joy of life with those that we meet. That said - truly being in love, naturally is wonderful. I'm one of these people.
I have to assert that I am a vegetarian. I have many friends that are meat-eaters and I never lecture them about vegetarianism. Must confess though, I'm not sure if I could be in a relationship with a meat eater.
I love my cats and they live with me. If I had a partner, she would have to love cats as well and feel relaxed and happy with them around.

I like 'nice' and relaxing things, i.e. a drive in the country and a cup of tea, but I still have to go wild now and again at festivals and round the pubs - probably part of being in a band. Can't cope with a partner that puts tons of make-up on and fake tan. Have to be honest about these things. So you can see partly why, I beleive in taking things easy - my perfect match isn't going to be next door is it?
