I am a professional writer/editor of macabre weird fiction. I also do freelance writing/editing, have several different music critique/general rant and film review columns. I co-host a live weekly radio-cast, based around the paranormal, dark underground artists of all sort, with some satire thrown in for good measure. I'm a music/film/literature buff, historian, and critic. I've also been performing music on and off for the past 25 years, in a number of different bands, usually punk/goth/post-punk/deathrock/experimental. I'd like to find an equal, a companion, a partner in crime - - - someone on the same wavelength. I believe in the idea of soulmates. The odds of finding that online are about those of finding the proverbial needle in the haystack, but who's to say it's an impossibility, either. I love to listen/talk, and have a fairly morbid/sardonic sense of humor. Open-mindedness and intelligence are important, as is honesty. I usually don't do these, and really have no idea what to say. I've recently moved, been single for a bit now, and am having difficulty re-adjusting. I'd like to find someone similar in philosophy and aesthetic to spend my time with. I'm well aware that's rather all pathetic sounding, but I'm honest, and don't mince words. If I didn't want to meet someone, I wouldn't be on here. *(I'm not averse to making similar minded friends, at the very least.)
