My name is David, and I'm a 28 year old guy.
I'm a Goth, and I love Goth Rock. My most favorite Goth Rock band is Joy Division, and Ian Curtis has a way of moving me emotionally in which no other singer can, however I also love many other genres of music. I listen to post hardcore rock and rap the most, however I even like country music as long as it is music by either Johnny Cash or Kenny Rogers. Other then those two artists, I do not like country music.
I love to write, and I particularly love to write poetry. English Sonnets are my favorite, but lately I have been writing free verse poetry the most. I keep a Diary, because it helps me to express my thoughts and feelings in that way, and it is also really nice to be able to look back on what I was thinking and feeling in the past. At first it felt laborious, but at this point I would feel really bad to say the least if I went a whole day without writing a Diary entry. A lot of people use the word Journal, and I have no problem with that word, but to me Diary is much more ascetically appealing. My most favorite hobbies that go along with writing are, Anime, Manga, and reading, however I have not read much lately. I also love video games; particularly MMO's and console RPG's, but lately I haven't really played any games at all. I've been spending most of my time when doing hobbies watching Anime. It is relaxing to me. I suppose you could say that I'm a Goth, a nerd, and I have an anti-authority mindset to some degree, but I have to keep that in check in order to function well in society.
I'm a Highly Sensitive Person, and I am also an animal lover. I have two dogs, and I love them as much as I would love them if they were human.
I also am involved in the **** lilfestyle, but I feel most comfortable talking about that with others who are in the lifestyle; I don't feel comfortable writing about that aspect of me on my public profile, but in actuality I would be more than happy to talk about it with anyone who has an open mind and is interested in my preferences for a lack of a better word in that regard.
I'm also a hopeless romantic and a very cuddly guy. I'm very goofy, and humor is my strongest and most preferred coping mechanism when I'm under a lot of stress and am at the same time not able to get away from other people to chill out.
