I quite like trying on hats and will more often than not be found pulling faces in any photographs taken; this is usually the only way people ever get a pic of me.
Okay... so an inane list of stuff that may be important for you to know... It's probably not THAT important but given I have your attention for the moment I'm going to tell you anyway...
* I shave my head.
* My hair is white; it started going white at a particularly early age and if I grew my hair I'd probably look a bit like Gandalf. Gandalf is cool... and wise... and in twenty years or so I may even attempt that look but it's not going to happen any time soon.
* I DO have a number of tattoos and piercings. Some folk have an antipathy towards such adornments so it's best to warn you in advance. I may well have reached my limit on piercings but there's always room for more tattoos.
* I have ever changing facial hair (erm... that's a bit of an exaggeration. It's not EVER changing, transforming before your eyes while you chat to me!); this is dependent upon my level of boredom or if I feel I haven't seen a particular part of my face for a couple of years and wonder if it's changed at all.
* When I get nervous I talk a lot. I'm quite nervous about writing this. You may be able to tell and this may be the longest conversation you ever have with me. (It's a bit of a one sided conversation so far though, so you'd better be up for sharing a little info. about yourself with me after all this.)
* I'm rubbish at first dates. (REALLY rubbish. If we get as far as a second then one of us deserves a medal (most likely you!!))
* I'm the least photogenic person I know. (Apart from this one guy I met on the bus; although he did have really interesting nasal hair. He's the reason I don't use public transport any more. Which reminds me I'm sure his restraining order is up soon.)
* I may steal your hat, if your wearing one, but only to get a photo of me wearing it (you WILL get it back! Unless it's the best hat I've ever worn... however, I can't run very fast when I'm wearing a hat so you'll be able to chase me down and get it back)
* I have a very tangential way of thinking that means I don't always finish one story before... actually this list is endless so I'll stop here...
While I understand the nature of this site is to make initial contact I'm much more of a getting out and about in the real world kind of person and chatting over coffee, do some people watching together etc than continuing some stilted e-mail conversation over a prolonged period of time. It's only in face-to-face conversation that you can really tell if you have any rapport... oh, yeah and see that the person you are talking to is actually the same person as they have described/shown in there profile.
Are you still here? Really?
Think of all the things you could have done in the last two minutes!!!
...because if you've got this far you may as well say "hey" (and hopefully a bit more than that.)
