Losing my marbles and my hair (I guess I'm going to end up with the shaved head n big beard 'look') though I never had religion* to lose. I don't suit hats, any hats.
(*Religion: Well it's like this... God doesn't like quiche; and once you accept this the universe makes sense and you too will be able to rise up like a good** cheese scone.)
(**Good cheese scones have the cheese throughout, not just melted on top of a plain scone. Take note, Morrisons!)
I overly use parentheses and asterisks. There was a time when I had long hair, and quite a few when I had dyed hair and earings. No more - I look quite boring ha! My mind is quite interesting though, so I'm told.
Likes: (Naturally) gigs and festivals (and sometimes I even dress up... and sometimes even when not at a festival!); geeky stuff such as SF/fantasy stories (in all mediums), board games, computer games, tech, science; doing interesting activites such as Clued-Up, escape rooms, outdoor cinema and interactive outdoor theatre; the countryside: a bit of walking, cycling and camping; and other things.
Dislikes: Celebrity worship, religious worship, money worship, most but not all forms of worship really, corporate greed, cruelty.
About here: I pop on, I pop off. I play with words in the forums, I lurk in the shadows. It's a similar pattern on FL.
Elsewhere: I make money as a 'pencil pusher' (or mouse clicker etc.); I don't have kids but actually quite like kids especially my niece who is like a daughter and actually no longer a kid (time flies!); I am quite musical but don't have the drive to be good at it; animals generally like me though I don't know why.
Happy to chat and maybe make friends, maybe more but one step at a time.
