I enjoy creating and building strange and interesting things...
Though I consider myself to wield a decent amount of old fashioned values when it comes to honesty, chivalry, and being a southern gentleman, I am also very open minded and certainly eclectic.
I have worked building and designing animatronics, special effects/mechanical effects props gadgets, prototypes and characters for theme parks, film and T.V. and various industries.
There are very few things that I cannot build.
My aesthetics come from a mixture of industrial, electro, metal, old western, 1800's,1920's eras, sci-fi, Blade Runner, 2046, ..... just to name a few.
I've traveled to Europe, Thailand, and South Africa thus far, and am thinking Peru or Tibet is on the not too distant horizon.
While I certainly enjoy excursions into the city for great foods and entertainment, I quite prefer to be in the great out of doors than amongst the hustle and bustle the majority of the time.
I am in nature as much as possible where ever it is is how I maintain my connection with the universe.
I spend most of my time thinking and doing, rather than talking about it a lot.
No real care for watching TV shows, though I love cuddling up for a good movie or possibly a DVD copy (no commercials) of a good cable mini-series... such as Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Dead Wood,
I love to learn and to teach.
I have a few cats, dogs, goats, chickens and rabbits and love all sorts of critters...
I am currently working on building a permaculture self-sufficient/ art ranch in hill country outside Austin.
I want to be able to support my food needs more fully both for ethical and health reasons. To live off the land is one of my biggest goals currently.
I do my best to eat healthy most of the time, and I stay considerably fit from work and working my land.
I am looking for solid friends, ones interested in stealing the hearts, minds, and imaginations of the people, and turning them towards a positive and creative viewpoint...

It could amount to be a number of things so long as it is an interesting journey and we both grow from it...
I require the company of others that seek a deeper meaning and understanding of themselves, us, and this world.
Whether friends or lovers I surround myself as much as possible with people that carry that capacity and drive.
Even though I have some dark aesthetics, I strive to fill my world with love, light, and wonder...
I love nothing more than to communicate about the things that matter in our lives rather than be constantly distracting ourselves from our own inner truths with television, or concern for other people’s drama.
If you are, smart, creative, confident, and comfortable in your own skin, not afraid to get dirty or work and play outside on a ranch, in the mountains, or in a shop, very open minded and excited at the prospect of creating a strange new world of our own, interested in self-sufficiency, and alternative means and ways of living a thinker and doer more so than a talker, interested in world traveling and road trips, we're likely to hit it off well.
Please be emotionally secure and mature enough to handle a solid friendship and relationship and take responsibility to own up to your feelings good and bad.
I don't expect perfection from anyone, I am a distance from it myself, but working towards it always.
