Everyone I know comments on how long I've been single so thought I'd plunge back into the world of online dating. Worst that could happen is acquiring a stalker or ending up in a cult. Setting fire to a wicker man does sound rather exciting but I'd really just rather meet someone to share some cool times over a nice cuppa.
By day I work for an independent company (and by independent, I also mean independently running themselves into the ground). Or reading, and drinking my body-weight in tea and coffee.
I play bass in a band, kind of post rock with hardcore bits and swelling melodic passages, so usually at a gig by night, or off touring the UK and sometimes the EU to play live shows. Practically year round holidays spent playing gigs with buds, and one thing that allows me to retain some sanity.
When I'm in Bristol I can be found frequenting the usual 'alternative' bars and discotheques the city has to offer. I have neither the stamina, patience nor co-ordination to dance in 'the' club that all the pop songs talk about. A nice ale and hanging with mates is preferable.

Books:
Loads of historical WW2 stuff, I'm not a weirdo for stats and weapons, but love the stories people had of that time to do with politics and life. Sad that many older people with mental stories aren't listened to much today.

There's worth in pretty much everything, but if you're a flavour of the month kind of person this probably isn't going to work.
