Sweet, sounds like a lot of fun. Not everything modern has changed though. Some of the musicians I look up to were inspired by bands like KISS and Motley Crue and such. I'm a big fan of Black Veil Brides for example. I get a lot of my inspiration from them. Guys like Alice Cooper and Niki Sixx have praised the band saying they're the only real rock n roll band out there and they're bringing it back. They're probably the closest thing in the modern era. My other inspirations are Blood On The Dance Floor, The Birthday Massacre, No Doubt. I mean like they're a lot different but it's easy to see when you look at some of my inspirations the influence they have on me. I look and dress a lot like them.
We had a killer gig in the 70's at a hotel where all the Arena acts would stay 'cause it was right next 2 the airport. Paul Stanley & Ace (KISS) came into the bar without their makeup and nobody had seen them without it yet. Had drinks with them on our break and Paul said "We aren't that good a musicians but we are GREAT businessmen". They were pretty cool
