The witch hammer - malleus maleficarum was written in the late 1400s by Heinrich Krammer. Very important history book, i think it should be a school requirement.
It is the witch hunter book that spurred the hunts.
During time he wrote it, most people scoffed at the ideas of witches being responsible. It mostly was considered superstitious. So he wrote the book to validate his point. It worked as well as falsified information does today to get people rialed.
I say that to people all the time! I really feel it should be an educational requirement. People have no idea how much this piece of work altered. it still effects today's societies and great deal of beliefs.
