I watched A Serbian Film a bunch of times and its been banned in 13 countries. Cannibal Holocaust i believe is still banned in 7 countries. Salò or the 120 Days of Sodom i know was banned in the U.K. for quite some time and might still be. Melancholie der Engel i believe is banned in every country outside of Germany. No, i don't agree with the bans because these directors have the right to express themselves freely without being banned or censored. If people don't want to see this sort of content, then nobody is forcing them to. But people tend to allow their morbid curiosities get the better of them, so when they indulge and decide to watch A Serbian Film or some of the other titles from the extreme genre, then they're pissed off that they saw something they didn't like. What did they seriously think was going to happen? They are called extreme films for a reason!!!

So there are episodes of older shows that either don’t get aired because the jokes are now considered offensive somehow, or some episodes that air that are now censored. Example given, the episode of The Office (US version) where they discuss sēxual harassment in the workplace, there are now two instances where the phrase “bone your mom” and “boner” are now bleeped.

I honestly hope whoever is responsible for such petty fückery gets murdered by Al Qaeda.

The original Evil dead was banned in some countries after hitting home video and was part of the then dubbed "video nasties" movement. In order to get an allowed release the films had to have footage trimmed. Though by the millennium that and other video nasties were released on dvd uncut. By today's standards a person might wonder what was so bad.

Not a movie or TV Show, but the game Thrill Kill was canceled very close to completion and wound up getting leaked online.

The game's premise is actually quite interesting, but the gameplay itself could have been better imo. Also the whole soundtrack being done by Contagion was pretty cool too.

But mine is a disgusting book that I believe was originally in French, it's banned in France I think. I swear chick who gave it to me told me it was also a movie, which is also banned, idk, do your own research. But it's called 120 Days of Sodom. It's very very sexual and about as f**ksd up as it gets. I haven't even read it, I own it to own a banned book. The chick who gave it to me told me about some of it, and it's pretty bad. She didn't finish it, she was curious if I would. I'll try one day, but I have several other books sitting here I want to read first.
