Motörhead was formed in 1975 by Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister after his dismissal from space rock band Hawkwind. Motörhead released 22 studio albums and 5 live albums.
The band disbanded in 2015 when iconic frontman Lemmy passed away at the age of 70. Other band members who are now deceased include Larry Wallis, Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor, "Fast" Eddie Clarke and Michael "Würzel" Burston.
