Looking for my Morticia...
I came of age in the world of the early 80's Los Angeles punk scene, and that shaped me forever. I have lived quite in the mainstream with a very wonderful and satisfying career, but have never given up my love for music, films, art and culture that pushes the boundaries. I now find myself in search of a companion who can appreciate this, and share some of my passions. I'm really looking for my last first date, but also friendship for those who are like minded.
Here's some details about me. I live in the Washington DC area and am unattached, 53 y.o., 5'9", 180 lbs HWP, white with a touch of asian, well educated, professional. Some of the things I enjoy are live music, movies in the theatre or at home, sports in person and on TV, good food, museums and galleries, road trips, hanging out at home and more. I also spend a lot of time in Southern California and Denver, and am up to road trips anywhere between NYC and NC. If I find my Morticia elsewhere in the States, traveling there is an option.
Here's some artists that I like in no particular order and in no way comprehensive: Savages, Kubrick, Welles (as in Orson), Cage (John, not Nicholas), Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Cronenburg, Sigur Ros, Scorcese, Beethoven, Kurosawa, Joy Division, Restif de la Bretonne, The Germs, Kraftwerk, Black Flag, Cohen Brothers, Arcade Fire, Kafka, The Kinks, Siouxsie, Fassbinder, TG, Nirvana, SPK, Poe, Metallica, Interpol, Tao of Physics, Bauhaus, Herzog, Chemical Brothers, Tarkovsky, Ligeti, The Horrors, sex pistols, Mozart, Nick Cave, Ramones, Tarantino, The Prodigy, Penderecki, Madonna, Rolling Stones, Crystal Castles, Wenders, Almovodar, The XX, X, Einstruzende Neubauten, NIN, Neil Young and on and on.
