WARNING: Long and rambling profile ahead. Will, indeed, anyone even want to do lots of reading nowadays, let alone send a message?
TLDR: Jassy is multiple sensory-impaired guide dog owner. Aspergic, very geeky perkygoth. Disabled with lots of health problems: registered blind, hearing impaired and without speech; chronic pain/fatigue. I have a guide dog called Flossie who (of course) goes everywhere with me. Just moved to Torquay, as of end of May 2023! New adventures await! 😊
Looking mainly for friends and activity partners. If anything develops beyond that, then great. If not, I'd be happy as they are.
Activity partners for like mainly dog walking/hiking, many geeky conventions/festivals around the country, ale and whisky quaffing, music and comedy gigs, games and movie/series nights, martial arts training. If you are are sitting comfortably and wish to know more, please read on and/or send me a message that isn't just a single sentence or sleazy. I'd like to get back into tabletop games as well. I really want to play Shadowrun and get back into DnD, both beyond just the CRPGs.
I think I'm fun to go out with or do hobbies with but my health issues and disabilities will probably make me a poor candidate for anything more that. I've been told that it wouldn't be fair on the other person in a relationship because I have to put my guide dog first and that other people essentially ignore the other person in the relationship because of my disabilities so I shouldn't impose myself on others for anything beyond friendship. I suppose they're right... it's a tricky old pickle, indeed!
