Suicide Silence is an American extreme metal band from Riverside, California. The group consists of vocalist Eddie "Tee Hee" Hermida, guitarists Chris Garza and Mark Heylmun, drummer Alex Lopez and bassist Dan Kenny. Formed in 2002, the band has released three full-length studio albums, one EP and seven music videos. They have received a fair amount of praise, being awarded the Revolver Golden God award for "Best New Talent" in 2009.
The band's original vocalist and founding member was Mitch Lucker, who passed away on November 1, 2012 as the result of a motorcycle accident.
In 2013, the band announced they will continue making music. Eddie "Tee Hee" Hermida, the former lead vocalist of All Shall Parish and close friend of Mitch, was hired the new vocalist. Rhythm Guitarist and Co-Founder Chris Garza is the Now the Only Constant Member for Suicide Silence.
